Re/Gent has developed IEC 62552-1-2-3 based measurement software called ColApp, which is successfully distributed to many customers all over the world

ColApp

ColApp complies with the IEC 62552-1-2-3 standards and amendments, as well as derived regional standards such as the European EN 62552-1-2-3 standard. The software incorporates stabilzation criteria for energy consumption and performance measurements for domestic refrigerators, beverage coolers, ice cream freezers, supermarket display cabinets and refrigerated storage cabinets. These criteria are not practical to be evaluated manually and require dedicated algorithms, all integrated in the ColApp software. Measurement results are being visualized with a transparent, graphical user interface.

Energy labels and and efficiency limits for different countries using IEC 62552-1-2-3 based standards are calculated automatically, providing a clear overview of the different energy classes. ColApp is regularly updated to include counties that adopted new energy efficiency regulations.

Data communication

ColApp has the functionality to automatically read measurement data. The software communicates with various state of the art temperature and power measurement data acquisition systems.
